Hi there and welcome!

 

My name is Wren (he/they), and I am currently an apprentice working under Melissa’s guidance at Affirmation Tattoo! I’d like to share a little bit about myself and who I am as an artist.

 

First of all, I’m a big fan of cartoons, video games, and art so if you’re a fan of any of those too we’ve got plenty to talk about already! I also love collecting taxidermy and oddities! You’ll find a lot of nature and animal inspiration in my artwork as it all finds its way into my work somehow. (Wolves are by far my favorite creatures to tattoo!!)

 

From the moment I received my first tattoo, I fell in love with the craft. The way an artist could share their work with each piece being totally unique to the individual! It really is an incredible and rewarding art form for everyone involved. Tattoos don’t have to be a scary experience, in fact they can be so much fun!

 

I knew right away I wanted to help create a space where everyone feels welcome to express themselves. Especially as a transgender artist in this field of work, I feel very lucky that I can help create this environment where clients of all walks of life can feel comfortable and safe. I also want to be able to help make artwork that you adore in the process of course! Everyone at Affirmation Tattoo is so talented and kind, so please don’t hesitate to reach out to any of us!
